    • The entrance building of the Sugar-Rail Station opposite the TianZhong TRA station was moved a little from its original position to better fit into the today's station square. It had been the starting point of the TianLin-Line 田林線.

    • Since 1910 to XiZhou and further 1912 to ErLin this 762mm gauge railway line had a length of almost 30 km and is one of the oldest in Taiwan.

Connections

  • Junction of Ershui and TianZhong Lines
    • The TianLin Line had been in the center of a wide network of branch lines. A section around XiZhou also was part of the strategic South-North Link.

    • The old railway tracks are mostly used as roads and are occasionally interrupted by missing bridges or farmland, but a good part is converted to bicycle lanes that let you explore the countryside. Bike tours that touch the TianLin Line: Around ErLin and north to XiHu, LuGang and YuanLin.
